During the early 1800’s Tewinga was the early beginning of the hub that is now Bowraville. The Old Mill Cottage stands on the site where the Tewinga Saw Mill was established in the mid-1800’s, milling and log driving timber via the Nambucca River.
Immerse yourself in the new hand-made 2 bedroom cottage, the perfect place to sit back and relax and take in the stunning sunsets and vistas the River View Island has to offer. The Cottage is fully self –contained with an open plan kitchen, lounge and dinning, large windows and wrap around veranda overlooking the Nambucca River. Accommodating up to four guests with exclusive access to the Nambucca River via boat ramp, gravel beach and stairs guests can enjoy bushwalking, fishing and boating. Only eight minutes travel along the tourist drive from Nambucca Heads to Tewinga, The Old Mill Cottage is conveniently located in between historic towns, pristine beaches, estuaries and national parks for amazing outdoor adventures like bushwalking and hiking, 4wd driving tracks and magical freshwater discoveries.
